This opportunity is ideal for an Occupational Therapist seeking a contract position in an elementary school setting. The role involves providing specialized support primarily to students in grades K-6, focusing on enhancing their motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities to promote academic success and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions to elementary-aged students (K-6).
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment.
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and monitor student progress.
• Provide guidance and training to educators and parents on strategies to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working with children in school-based settings is highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and educational standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently within a flexible schedule.
  
  

Location: Nampa, Idaho

Schedule: 1.5 days per week during the current school year (CSY)
