A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide services in an elementary school setting located in Meridian, ID. This position is designed for the upcoming school year and involves working approximately 1.5 days per week with students in grades K-6. The role focuses primarily on delivering occupational therapy interventions to support the developmental and educational needs of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, treatment, and consultative services to students in grades K-6
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and incorporate strategies that promote student success
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other areas impacting academic performance
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
• Participate in meetings and contribute professional insights on student needs and accommodations
  
  

Preferred Qualifications And Experience

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
• Familiarity with K-6 student populations and elementary education environments
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
