Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a full-time Occupational Therapist. In this school-based position near Meriden, CT, you'll provide vital OT services to a diverse caseload of 24-30 students, making an immediate impact from now through the end of the school year. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Connecticut
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting strongly preferred
  • Understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage time effectively and balance a caseload of varying needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' functional abilities and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based OT interventions to support students’ success in academic and daily activities
  • Document progress, maintain records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer consultative services to teachers and parents to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies
  • Adjust therapy plans as needed based on student growth and changing needs

This is a full-time, 36 hours per week contract role based in a supportive educational environment, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year, with potential for renewal.
