Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate student participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care capabilities
- Adapt tasks and classroom environments to meet individual student needs
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments as needed
- Prepare detailed, clear reports based on student evaluations and ongoing observations
- Create and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations tailored to student needs
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to support student development
- Valid Illinois state license or eligibility to obtain licensure as an OT or COTA
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within a collaborative educational setting
- Flexibility and strong problem-solving abilities
