Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate student participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care
- Modify tasks or the school environment to support diverse student needs
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments as required
- Produce detailed reports from student observations and testing
- Develop and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations
- Collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and needs
- Must possess or qualify for an Illinois state occupational therapy license
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
