Middle School Elementary School Occupational Therapist - Loves Park, Illinois

A part-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available from January 20, 2026, through March 13, 2026, supporting elementary and middle school students in a contract role. This position focuses on working with resource and self-contained students to promote their participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.

Key responsibilities include modifying tasks or environments to accommodate student needs, conducting diagnostic and evaluation testing, and producing detailed reports based on assessments and observations. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining IEP objectives and accommodations, as well as collaborating closely with parents and school staff to monitor students developmental progress and identify areas that require support.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible to hold an Illinois state Occupational Therapy license
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
