Key Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapy license
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing OT services within school settings
- Experience supporting students through home health and healthcare-based OT
- Comfortable delivering teletherapy sessions as needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and a student-centered approach
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized OT treatment plans for students with varied needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in-person throughout the school, and remotely via teletherapy tools as required
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to incorporate strategies into daily school routines and at home
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes
- Help facilitate transitions between school and home healthcare when applicable
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Exposure to a variety of school-based and healthcare settings
