Qualifications & Experience
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT), or eligibility in time for the 2026-2027 school year
- Previous experience or strong interest in providing services in school settings, especially with elementary and middle school students
- Familiarity with a range of school-based assessments and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working onsite and engaging with students, educators, and families
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Deliver direct therapy to students, both in self-contained and resource environments
- Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams during scheduled monthly and roundtable meetings
- Administer evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
- Participate in annual performance reviews and contribute to ongoing process improvement efforts
- Leverage equipment, testing materials, and digital resources provided onsite
- Integrate feedback from supervision, 1:1 check-ins, and monthly team meetings
- Engage in professional development offerings to further skills relevant to school-based practice
- Access support from dedicated supervisors and new-hire "Buddy Program" to ensure a smooth orientation and transition
