Key Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current or pending Occupational Therapy license in Tennessee
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students’ developmental and functional needs within the school context
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, adjusting approaches based on progress
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom modifications as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate progress to educators and parents
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to professional growth within the school team
