School Behavior Specialist - Warwick, RI

A full-time opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support a high school student in a one-on-one setting. This contract position is based in Warwick, RI, with work hours from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The role is scheduled to start as soon as possible and will continue through June 15, 2026.

Key Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
• Experience working as a Behavior Specialist or in a similar capacity within school settings is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and school staff
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support to a high school student
• Collect and document data related to the student's progress
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure consistent behavioral interventions
• Follow protocols and implement treatment plans based on the student's needs
