School Behavior Specialist in Warwick, RI

Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite position is ideal for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with an active certification seeking to support students in a school environment. The role focuses on providing one-on-one behavioral support at a high school setting from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a contract lasting until June 15, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized behavioral interventions and support to students.
• Work closely with educators, behavior specialists, and other school staff to implement behavior plans effectively.
• Monitor and document student progress, ensuring data accuracy for ongoing assessment.
• Maintain a supportive and positive environment that encourages student growth and engagement.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate on behavior strategies tailored to individual student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
• Experience working in school settings, ideally with students requiring behavioral support.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with school personnel and report on student progress.
• Ability to manage a 1:1 caseload with dedication and professionalism.
• Reliable and punctual presence from early morning to mid-afternoon hours.
