Qualifications And Desired Experience

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience providing speech and language services within school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to PreK-12 students in individual and group settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and input to multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Monitor progress, maintain clear records, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Provide training and resources to support staff and caregivers
