School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Seattle, Washington

A licensed Registered Nurse with experience in school nursing is needed for a contract position supporting both preschool and high school environments. This role provides critical health services to students during the school year at a high school located in Seattle, WA, with specific duties scheduled across multiple days in different educational settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care within the preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays.
• Provide dedicated one-on-one nursing support at a high school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
• Monitor student health, evaluate medical conditions, and administer treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student well-being and safety.
• Maintain accurate health records and adhere to established nursing protocols.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Washington.
• Prior experience providing one-on-one nursing care preferred.
• Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent healthcare in educational settings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
