Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Deliver focused 1:1 nursing support for a student at Kent Meridian High School on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
- Manage G-tube feeding care, including initiating and discontinuing feedings at school.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals who assist with transfers and brief changes as needed.
- Communicate and train student family members and collaborate with the building nurse to ensure continuity of care.
- Accompany the student on the bus for transportation and provide nursing support during transit.
- Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in Washington State.
- Prior 1:1 nursing experience is preferred.
- Comfortable with bus riding as part of daily duties.
- Ability to work effectively with a supportive team including paraprofessionals and family members.
