Registered Nurse School Setting in Renton, WA

A registered nurse with an active Washington state license is needed for a contract position serving high school and preschool settings. This role offers the opportunity to apply nursing expertise in educational environments, supporting student health and well-being.

Location: Renton, WA (Kent Meridian High School and preschool health room)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays.
• Deliver one-on-one nursing support at Kent Meridian High School on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
• Monitor and assess student health conditions, administer medications, and manage health care plans.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure comprehensive student health management.
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with regulations and school policies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
• Prior experience providing one-on-one care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in school health environments.
