Qualifications:

• Valid and current state physical therapist license
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with developing individualized treatment plans for pediatric populations
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff
• Dedicated to fostering student independence, participation, and overall well-being
• Comfortable working solely onsite (no virtual/remote services)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions customized to student needs
• Develop and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Document ongoing progress, updating goals and interventions as necessary
• Educate students, families, and staff regarding follow-through activities and adaptive strategies
• Advocate for student participation in all aspects of school life
• Maintain all required compliance and documentation standards
