Step into an exciting opportunity to support elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract role is based at a single elementary school, where you’ll work closely with young learners, educators, and families to help students achieve their communication goals. Your expertise will be essential in shaping students’ social, emotional, and academic success, creating a positive impact each day.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure and certification to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the elementary level
- Familiarity with best practices for assessments, goal setting, and individualized education plans (IEPs) in school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with teachers, families, and school staff
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students according to IEPs
- Conduct assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and families to support classroom success
Schedule & Setting:
- Full-time, on-site, school-based contract
- Monday–Friday, 7:30AM–3:05PM at a single elementary campus
