Key Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments for pre-K students, identifying speech and language needs.
- Provide targeted speech-language support and interventions as per individual student requirements.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies.
- Fulfill FMLA coverage duties at Ortega Elementary for the duration of the assignment.
- Valid State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist from the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA).
- Clear or professional Speech Services Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working in school settings with pre-K populations.
- Completed supervisor reference and proof of licensure must be provided.
- Candidates must NOT be Clinical Fellows (CFs); fully licensed SLPs only.
- Preference for candidates fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities.
- On-site position based in San Francisco, CA. Remote or voiceover options are not available for this assignment.
