This district-wide, full-time contract opportunity covers multiple K-12 schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll collaborate closely with educational staff and families to promote students' growth, making a meaningful difference throughout the district.
Your schedule runs 8:30AM-3:15PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring work-life balance while engaging with diverse learners and environments. As a valued member of the interdisciplinary team, your specialized expertise will help foster student independence and physical capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid Physical Therapist licensure in the state of New Jersey
- Ability to obtain all required NJ documentation: completed TB test, physical exam, and fingerprints for both staffing agency and district
- Demonstrated experience (clinical or educational) with K-12 students
- Willingness to interview remotely via Zoom
- Strong communication, time-management, and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to work in multiple school settings with varied student needs
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to students, including assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in cooperation with teachers and related service staff
- Educate students, staff, and families on strategies and techniques to foster functional mobility
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all compliance requirements
- Promote a safe and supportive environment across all assigned schools throughout the district
This contract offers 35 hours per week, beginning September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027. You’ll make a significant, district-wide impact while gaining valuable school-based experience.
