Responsibilities Include

• Managing dispensing of high-cost specialty medications
• Navigating drug approval processes and facilitating insurance authorizations
• Assisting patients and providers with payment options, grants, rebates, and other financial aid programs
• Maintaining high-touch communication with healthcare providers and patients
• Utilizing McKesson Enterprise (ERx) system for specialty pharmacy workflows
• Ensuring compliance with all regulations and documentation standards
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Proven experience specifically within a designated specialty pharmacy; retail experience dispensing specialty drugs alone is insufficient
• Familiarity with rare and orphan drug therapies and related disease states
• Strong clinical knowledge combined with exceptional communication skills
• Active, clear, and good-standing Arizona pharmacist license
• Ability to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours
• Availability for an ASAP start with a 13-week contract leading potentially to direct hire
