Registered Nurse School Setting - Edison, NJ

A full-time Registered Nurse position is available to provide specialized care for a 7th-grade male student in a school setting located in Edison, NJ. This onsite role operates during school hours from 8:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is a contract opportunity extending through June 22, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 nursing care tailored to the students medical needs
• Manage asthma care, including monitoring and intervention
• Perform G-tube feedings, catheter care, toileting assistance, and diapering support
• Provide seizure care with appropriate monitoring and response
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience in school nursing or pediatric care with hands-on asthma management
• Skilled in G-tube feeding, catheter maintenance, and toileting assistance
• Competent in seizure care and emergency response
• Ability to work effectively in a one-on-one caregiving role
