Schedule
- 10-hour Mid shift: 6:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Call schedule includes:
- At least one late weekday shift (until 11:00 pm) per week
- At least one continuous weekend (Friday 6:30 am–Monday 6:30 am) per 6-week period
- Current RN license in good standing
- Degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN required)
- Current certification and active practice as an RNFA
- Strong background in operating room protocols and assisting in surgical procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to respond rapidly in emergent situations
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
- Previous travel or contract experience is a plus
- Provide clinical expertise as a First Assistant in diverse surgical cases
- Circulate, scrub, and directly assist surgeons in operative procedures
- Ensure optimal patient preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative evaluation
- Monitor and maintain aseptic technique and patient safety at all times
- Participate actively in the interdisciplinary surgical team
- Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital and regulatory standards
- Respond to on-call needs swiftly and professionally
