Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Valid RN license with solid clinical nursing experience (minimum 1 year post-graduation required)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Level 1 trauma center or large hospital setting
- EPIC Charting system proficiency is mandatory
- Preferred: Previous travel nursing experience with contract extensions
- Chemo certification is not required, but prior oncology or hematology exposure is beneficial
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to hematology/oncology patients
- Administer medications and monitor treatment response under physician guidance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
- Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans
