Registered Nurse IR - Mentor, OH

An opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in interventional radiology to provide expert care within a dynamic hospital environment. This 13-week contract role involves supporting multiple interventional radiology suites and a pre/post-procedure area, offering a diverse and engaging clinical experience.

Shift

• Four 10-hour shifts, days from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (specific days to be arranged during the interview)
• On-call requirement: two weekends (Saturday-Sunday) and one weeknight per month
  
  

Role Overview

• Provide nursing care in interventional radiology, including two body IR suites, two neuro IR suites, and CT and ultrasound interventional rooms
• Float between a 12-bed pre/post-procedure area and multiple procedure rooms
• Maintain a patient ratio of 3:1 ensuring focused and effective patient care
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support complex procedures and patient safety
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Current BLS certification
• Valid Ohio RN license with compact privileges
• Experience in interventional radiology nursing preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, specialized clinical settings
