Radiology Tech | Marrero, Louisiana

This opportunity is ideal for experienced radiologic technologists skilled in a variety of imaging modalities, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and surgical support. Located in Marrero, LA, the position offers a unique blend of challenging cases involving neonates, infants, and geriatric patients. The role requires the ability to perform plain films, fluoroscopic procedures, enema studies, and assist in surgery with C-arm technology. If you hold ARRT, LSRT, and BLS certificationsor are in the process of obtaining a temporary LSRT credentialthis contract offers a rewarding environment to apply your specialized skills.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience
• Proficient with PACS, GE, Philips, and Siemens imaging equipment
• Certification requirements: ARRT, LSRT (or temporary LSRT in progress), and BLS
• Experience with neonate, infant, and geriatric patient imaging
• Skilled in enema studies and surgical C-arm procedures
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to float to surgery when needed
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call and holiday schedules
  
  

Schedule

• 3x12-hour day shifts per week (9:30 AM 10:00 PM), Friday through Sunday
  
  

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across various patient populations
• Support surgical teams with intraoperative imaging using C-arm
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining high-quality imaging standards
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team members
• Manage equipment operation and maintenance adhering to safety protocols
