Radiology Tech | East Lansing, Michigan

An opportunity is available for an experienced X-Ray Technologist to support a Level 1 Trauma center in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing general diagnostic imaging exams primarily for the Emergency Department and inpatient units, contributing to critical patient care at a renowned Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

Location

Located in East Lansing, MI, this facility is a short-term acute care hospital with 632 staffed beds. The hospital is recognized for its Level 1 Trauma capabilities and commitment to quality healthcare. On-site parking is conveniently provided free with badge access to the parking garage.

Schedule

• 72 hours per pay period
• 5x8 hour shifts or 4x8 hour shifts
• Variable start times: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
• Every third weekend rotation
• No call or floating requirements
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Surgery experience preferred
• First-time technologists accepted
• Must hold valid BLS and ARRT certifications
• State license required and must be submitted during the application process
• No floating to sister facilities or call duties

• Perform general diagnostic X-ray examinations with accuracy and professionalism
• Support trauma and emergency cases efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Maintain documentation using Epic charting system
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards
