A full-time Pharmacy Technician role is available in a high-volume pharmacy setting supporting both long-term care and retail operations. This temp-to-hire position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role within a fast-paced environment processing approximately 500 prescriptions daily. Located in Cicero, IL, this role requires strong multitasking and communication skills to maintain seamless pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls from patients and healthcare facilities with professionalism and clarity
• Accurately process prescriptions through data entry and filling duties
• Support daily pharmacy workflow ensuring timely and precise medication dispensing
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain efficiency in a high-volume setting
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license (required)
• Experience with phone support, data entry, and prescription filling
• Attention to detail and ability to manage workload efficiently in a busy environment
• Long-term care experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity or willingness to be trained on AssistRx software
  
  

Schedule

• Approximately 10:00/11:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Weekend hours may be required (to be confirmed)
