Pharmacy Manager - Long Beach, CA

An interim Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available for a skilled professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy department within a 50-bed Long-Term Acute Care facility. This role offers a chance to lead a dedicated team of eight employees, ensuring efficient pharmacy services and compliance with healthcare standards. The assignment is approximately 8 to 12 weeks, Monday through Friday during day shifts, with an ASAP start.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the pharmacy department to support patient care
• Supervise and provide leadership to a team of 8 pharmacy personnel
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize medication management
• Oversee inventory control and pharmacy workflow processes
  
  

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Valid California Pharmacist license is required
• Previous supervisory experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to start immediately and commit to the full duration of the assignment
• Experience in managing pharmacy operations within acute care or LTAC environments is highly desirable
