Key Responsibilities
- Oversee pharmacy operations in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
- Function as pharmacist, including medication order verification and dispensing.
- Attend interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
- Manage medication inventory, stock Omnicell automation systems, and order supplies.
- Lead pharmacy start-up activities, including policy development and initial setup.
- Provide after-hours weekend order verification remotely.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and site protocols.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required.
- Experience in inpatient pharmacy practice; behavioral health background preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC order entry system (onsite training provided).
- Knowledge or willingness to learn Omnicell automation technology.
- Ability to work independently as there is no onsite pharmacy technician support.
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM with on-call duties.
- Weekend remote order verification twice daily for about one hour each.
- Scrubs or business casual attire.
