Pharmacy Director | Easton, Pennsylvania

An opportunity is available for a Director of Pharmacy with potential to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a behavioral health facility specializing in inpatient care. This contract role requires leadership capabilities and hands-on pharmacy skills within a behavioral health setting.

Location: Easton, PA

Job Type: Contract (coverage beginning ASAP through permanent hire)

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus on-call duties
• Weekend order verification from home at 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM (approximately 1 hour each)
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Director of Pharmacy and potentially Pharmacist in Charge
• Function as a pharmacist, including medication order entry and verification
• Manage pharmacy operations including inventory stocking and medication ordering
• Participate in facility meetings and provide pharmacy leadership
• Lead the development of pharmacy setup, policies, and procedures
• Train and collaborate on the use of EPIC order entry system (training provided onsite)
• Support pharmacy automation through Omnicell systems (training available)
• Handle pharmacy needs without technician support
  
  

Desired Qualifications And Experience

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania (required)
• Background in inpatient pharmacy with behavioral health experience preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC order entry system and Omnicell automation is a plus
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience in pharmacy operations
