Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Chandler, Arizona

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A well-established pharmacy group operating multiple locations throughout the greater Phoenix area is seeking skilled pharmacists to build a reliable per diem team. This opportunity is ideal for experienced retail pharmacists based locally in Chandler, AZ, to provide essential coverage for call-outs, vacations, and increased prescription volume.

Location: Chandler, AZ (with other nearby pharmacy locations)

Schedule/Hours

• Monday through Saturday, typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (some sites may close at 8:00 PM)
• Flexible per diem shifts, working 2-4 days per week preferred
• Coverage to support operational needs such as volume spikes and staff absences
  
  

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently within a retail pharmacy setting
• Provide patient counseling and immunizations as needed (immunization privileges required)
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and manage workflow in both strong support and pharmacist-only sites
• Complete required training shifts and maintain proficiency in QS1 software system
• Help ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in Arizona with no restrictions
• Minimum 1-2 years recent retail pharmacy experience preferred; 2 years highly favored
• Immunization privileges and current BLS certification required
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software preferred
  
  

Additional Details

• Training shifts: one required 8-hour session, additional training available
• Reimbursement provided for mileage over 30 miles, with full travel expenses covered for journeys over 75 miles
• Meal stipends offered for shifts worked
