Per Diem Retail Pharmacist in Roseville, CA

An urgent opening is available for skilled pharmacists to join a per diem team supporting busy pharmacy locations across Northern California, including Sacramento, the Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern CA regions. This role offers flexible scheduling, ideal for pharmacists currently working part-time who wish to increase their hours by covering additional shifts.

Location: Multiple locations in Northern California; travel and commuting within the assigned area required.

Schedule/Hours

• Per diem, as-needed shifts
• Typically 1-2 shifts requested per week
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide expert retail pharmacy services including dispensing medications and counseling patients
• Manage daily pharmacy operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Utilize pharmacy software systems such as McKessons Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 (Cardinal Health) effectively
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Valid pharmacist license with at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Experience managing pharmacy staff and opening/closing pharmacy operations
• Familiarity with McKessons Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 systems preferred
• Ability to commute or travel within assigned regions; mileage reimbursement available for travel exceeding 30 miles one way
