Per Diem Pharmacy Tech - Long Beach, California

Support an Independent Retail Pharmacy in Playa Del Rey, CA, as a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician providing essential coverage for call-offs, vacation, and PTO. This role offers the opportunity to work in a close-knit retail environment that also specializes in non-sterile compounding, preparing 8-10 compounds daily. Flexibility and reliability in picking up shifts during the week are highly valued.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Per Diem / PRN shifts to cover various times
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications and compounds using DigitalRx software
• Prepare non-sterile compounds following established protocols
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations in a busy retail setting
• Provide excellent customer service and support to pharmacy staff
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Strong preference for candidates with non-sterile compounding experience
• Availability to work multiple shifts, especially during weekdays
