Per Diem Pharmacist - Hollywood, FL

A per diem Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available to support a concierge pharmacy specializing in timely medication delivery through courier service. This role involves working in a primarily closed-door pharmacy setting with the possibility of limited medication pickup. The position requires licensed pharmacists to oversee daily operations and collaborate with a full team of pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists.

Location: Hollywood, FL

Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM 3:00 PM Contract Duration: Approximately 3-4 weeks (starting March 27 through April 18)
  
  

Responsibilities

• Manage daily retail pharmacy operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians throughout the shift
• Ensure accurate dispensing and delivery of medications to patients via courier service
• Use Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing and inventory management
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Florida pharmacist license
• Experience working in retail or closed-door pharmacy environments
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, preferably Pioneer Rx
• Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists
