Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Waukesha, WI

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a diverse caseload within a school setting in Waukesha, WI. This contract role offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated full-time SLP, supporting approximately 35 students primarily in pull-out sessions, with some push-in services tailored to intensive needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students, mainly grades 2nd through 5th.
• Manage a caseload that includes about six students requiring intensive 4k/5k services.
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to meet varied student needs.
• Collaborate with educational staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate progress documentation and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications And Experience

• Certification as an SLP (CCC preferred).
• Experience in school-based speech therapy.
• Familiarity with pediatric speech-language disorders.
• Competence in teletherapy is a plus but not required.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
