Key Responsibilities Include
- Delivering speech-language pathology assessments and therapies to school-aged children in K-8th and K-12th grade buildings
- Supporting evaluation services to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
- Managing a caseload of approximately 12 students with varied communication disorders
- Collaborating effectively with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Participating in ongoing professional development and contributing to program renewal discussions, as the role is likely to continue into the 2026-27 school year
- Valid certification in speech-language pathology, with preference given to candidates with experience in pediatric, school-based, teletherapy, or healthcare settings
- Experience supporting or supervising SLPAs is a plus
- Strong skills in conducting speech and language evaluations within school environments
- Ability to work independently and manage a moderate caseload efficiently
