Speech Language Pathologist in Lakeville, MN

This position is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including SLP Clinical Fellows (CFs), available on a contract basis in the Lakeville, MN area. This role focuses on providing specialized speech therapy services in a school setting for students with severe behavior and physical disabilities.

Key Details

• Position: SLP (2 openings, NO SLPAs)
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 4
• Weekly Hours: 36.25
• Caseload: Serving K-12 students, approximately 30-40 children
• Setting: Level 4 classrooms (students with severe behavioral and physical disabilities)
• Location: Single building assignments at either North Education Center or South Education Center in Minneapolis and Richfield, MN, respectively
  
  

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Deliver therapy services tailored to students with complex physical and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development
• Ensure therapy sessions align with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid SLP licensure; SLP Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
• Experience or willingness to work with students with severe physical and behavioral disabilities (Setting 4)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of 30-40 students across K-12 levels
