Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Austin, TX

A full-time temporary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide MAT leave coverage from December 2025 through May 2026 within a K-12 school setting in Austin, TX. This contract role offers the opportunity to deliver vital speech therapy services to students across all grade levels during an exciting academic year.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to support communication development.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation according to professional standards.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
• Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery is highly valued.
• Familiarity with school-based speech therapy regulations and protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage students in a remote or in-person setting.
