Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Waukegan, IL

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary students through the remainder of the current school year. This contract role involves providing direct speech and language services within a school setting, with opportunities to leverage skills in pediatric and school-based therapy, teletherapy, and healthcare approaches.

Location: Waukegan, IL

Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to an elementary caseload
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate student communication goals
• Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to provide remote services
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and best practices, including adherence to CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) standards
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid SLP certification and experience working in educational settings
• Familiarity with pediatric speech-language disorders and interventions
• Experience providing teletherapy services
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
