This contract position requires a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support a special private school located in Queensbury, NY, approximately 45 minutes north of Albany. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services tailored to students with severe disabilities and complex communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and feeding/swallowing goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to support student progress
- Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) as needed, offering guidance and mentorship
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with New York State education regulations
- Current NYS Teaching Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped is required
- Open to Clinical Fellows with provided supervision
- Experience or interest in pediatric dysphagia preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students who use AAC devices and methods
- Queensbury, NY (contract role; year-round school calendar)
