Key Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent operating room (OR) nursing experience
- Proficient in circulating and/or scrubbing, with ability to adapt to various surgical procedures
- Strong prioritization, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, compassionate patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to anticipate and respond to patient needs
- Prepare the operating room, ensuring proper equipment and sterile techniques are in place
- Monitor patient’s status and maintain accurate, timely records throughout the surgical process
- Provide patient and family education as needed, ensuring understanding of procedures and post-operative care
- Comply with infection control protocols and facility policy at all times
