Operating Room Technician in Albemarle, NC

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment by following rigorous aseptic techniques
• Set up sterile tables, instruments, and supplies necessary for surgical procedures
• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to ensure efficient case flow
• Monitor and maintain instrument counts and integrity of sterile fields
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, providing instruments and supplies promptly
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation as instructed
• Properly clean, disinfect, and restock instruments and operating room following procedures
• Adhere to facility protocols and infection control guidelines at all times
