Oncology Registered Nurse - Raleigh, North Carolina

This opportunity calls for a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a challenging hospital environment. Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients on a medical-surgical unit.
• Administer chemotherapy with adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and symptom management.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or Compact License ready for immediate use.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience, with oncology focus preferred.
• Certification requirements include BLS, PALS, Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC), and APHON.
• Ability to work night shifts: 3 twelve-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM).
• Willingness to work every other weekend.
• Flu vaccination mandate with no exemptions accepted.
