Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective intravenous cancer treatments and supportive therapies
- Manage patient care with attention to detail in a busy infusion center
- Utilize Cerner electronic medical records system for documentation and coordination
- Transport bone marrow and chemotherapy agents safely within the facility
- Participate actively in holiday staffing, including one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Oncology nursing and infusion therapies
- Current BLS certification required
- Chemotherapy certification mandatory
- Experience with oncology and bone marrow transport protocols
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record systems
- Shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM, with variable schedules
- Flexible to meet holiday staffing needs as outlined
