Oncology Registered Nurse - Elyria, Ohio

A specialized nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with a focus on oncology care. This role supports patients with malignant hematologic disorders, including those undergoing stem cell transplants and CAR-T infusions, on a 30-bed inpatient unit. Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) nursing.
• Possession of an Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider card.
• Strong clinical skills in administering complex treatments and managing patient care plans.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to hematologic oncology patients on a 30-bed inpatient unit.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T cell infusions safely and effectively.
• Monitor patient progress and manage side effects; participate actively in ongoing research studies.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, expectations, and care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  
  

Schedule/Hours

• Day and night rotations every two weeks.
• Availability for straight night shifts can be accommodated.
