Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medication management including lab test ordering, therapy selection, and adverse event management
• Verify chemotherapy orders and protocols for dosage accuracy and patient safety
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, side effect management, and medication adherence
• Collaborate with providers and nursing staff during clinical rounds to influence treatment decisions
• Participate in clinical trials, manage investigational agents, and develop oncology protocols and guidelines
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
• Eligibility to obtain a California pharmacist license
• Advanced oncology training such as PGY2 residency or fellowship in oncology, OR
• Completion of PGY1 plus 3 years clinical oncology specialist experience, OR
• Minimum 5 years as a clinical oncology specialist
• Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred
