Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEPs, assessments, and intervention strategies for school-aged children
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Positive, proactive approach to collaboration with educators and families
- Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy services tailored to each child’s unique needs, both in one-on-one and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Support the development of fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes to ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational plans
