Key Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Knowledge of pediatric OT techniques for K-12 student populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other related service providers
- Strong communication and documentation skills tailored to educational environments
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school compliance requirements
- Conduct assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs within the educational context
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
- Provide both pull-out and push-in therapy services as appropriate to support student access and success in the classroom
