In this role, you will provide direct OT services to a caseload of about 25 students across three school buildings. The distribution of students includes:
- 5 students at the early education building
- 4 students in kindergarten through first grade
- 10 students in grades 2 through 6
- 1 student at the high school level
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing direct OT minutes according to students individual plans
- Conducting assessments to establish and update student goals
- Writing detailed reports to document progress and recommendations
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with educators and families
- Valid Occupational Therapy license with a focus on school-based practice
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within educational settings
- Knowledge in fine motor skill development and sensory integration
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and collaborate effectively
