A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for a K-12 school system in Dearborn, MI, to provide support primarily to elementary students. This contract position runs from ASAP through June and serves an essential role in assisting a caseload of 50-60 students. The assignment focuses on delivering occupational therapy services to students, promoting their functional skills, independence, and school performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and provide individualized occupational therapy interventions for students with diverse needs within an elementary school setting
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement therapy goals aligned with educational objectives
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports that comply with school and regulatory requirements
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of students to enhance their academic participation and daily functioning
• Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional abilities that impact learning
